To glorify God with our lives and all that He has made us to be is a Christian’s purpose.  

Mark 12:29  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 

Mark 12:30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 

Mark 12:31  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 

God is glorified when:

1. His name is exalted and He is admired.  Philippians 2:10, II Thessalonians 1:10-12
2. His children trust Him and keep His commandments.  John 14:15, John 15:10
3. His Mission is accomplished.  Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8

Fitting career into your ministry  

Personal devotions:  Morning

1. Morning routine.
2. Devotional partners help keep you on track.
3. Encourage others through the testimony of what God showed you.

Service to God and Others: Planning    

1. Determine to be faithful to church like you are in your career.
2. Be aware of the needs of others and write their prayer requests down.
3. Schedule service until it becomes habit.

Personal evangelism:  Practice 

1. Testify in church of the goodness of God in your life.
2. Learn how to present the gospel.
3. Pray that God will use you to deliver the gospel.

Making disciples:  Influence

1. First make a friend.
2. Invite them to study the bible with you.
3. Pray that God will open their heart.
