We help our children to understand that they can be missionaries, sharing their faith through words, actions and financial support, in age-appropriate ways wherever they are. The truth is that missions is a lifestyle.
Encouraging children to understand that “missions is a lifestyle” is one of our primary purposes in Faith Friends. You’ve seen the kiosks in malls and at amusement parks that identify where you are so you can see where you want to go. Some people think the mission field is “over there” in another country or to un-reached people groups in other towns and that “going to the field” requires a journey of many miles.
The truth is though, that the mission field is wherever you are because anywhere you go there are people who don't know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. “You are here” therefore the mission field is here as well.
Please help us build “Missionaries” for Christ. We pray that as the Lord works with Vision Baptist church that he will give these children a “vision” to see the world come to know the Lord as their personal savior.
